Music is one of my favorite art forms, etherial unless recorded. And even then elusive to capture well. I prefer a straight forward approach, recording the best possible raw tracks. The studio works well for singer/song writers, as well as 3-5 piece bands looking to make reasonably priced demos. I also record voice over talent, and am looking for talented individuals to produce.
My background and education opened my experience to sound healing and its potential to increase relaxation and healing. The scientific evidence is strong for the effectiveness of exposure to various frequencies. I am level one certified in this area and am working to achieve full certification. I am currently planning group sound baths and working to create a calendar for booking individual sessions. This will mostly be hosted at Healthy Spirit with weekly content beginning in the late fall.
I drum for the house band, The Mad Lads. This will also be a blog of our work, and my exploration of Indy after a 25 year hiatus, rediscovering musicians and areas of town. It is amazing the changes and similarities in the scene. The most surprising thing is the amount of talent present in the younger generations.
